Chris' Maximo fact: A client presented him with a Maximo security issue to deal with, and it sounded familiar. He checked a couple Maximo group sites on the web, and found the exact solution he needed. It was posted a year before - by Chris himself!

Mack Parrott
Maximo Administrator/ Project Manager

Mack currently lives where he grew up in the western PA town of New Castle, creatively described as Projetech’s Pittsburgh office. Long ago, when engineers used slide rules, Mack graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from Ohio University. His ‘first career’ was with the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company where he worked various engineering, maintenance and management positions in Kentucky, Texas, New York, Wyoming, and Pennsylvania, finally coming back to roost in the town that he grew up in 20 years before.
Somewhere along the way, Mack discovered he liked project work much more than traditional engineering and was able to steer his career to construction, process reengineering, and finally Maximo implementation and training projects. Mack’s first Maximo implementation was actually Maximo version three 15 years ago. Even though Maximo has changed significantly since then, Mack still believes that the three fundamental tenets of people, processes and technology are required for success in any CMMS project.
Mack keeps current with technology with education, both formal (an MS in Information Systems Management) and self-study (Maximo 6.1 and 7.1 IBM certification).
Mack also is a commercial rated pilot and reaches many of his consulting and training engagements by flying himself in his Mooney while waiting patiently for Projetech to acquire a turbine powered corporate aircraft.
When Mack and his wife Cathy were married in 1978, Mack had just started his new job, hence, he had no vacation so Cathy’s honeymoon was spent in Holiday Inns throughout Kentucky.
Mack and Cathy are avid SCUBA divers with a shark-feeding dive at the Great Barrier Reef as one of the most memorable.
Mark Eaton
Solutions Architect

Mark was an IT financial systems director at an east coast regional airline when he was first introduced to Maximo and aircraft maintenance in 2000. It was then that Mark took a leadership role on the Maximo development and implementation project that was struggling to move forward. This would prove to be a life changing event, as the demands of implementing aircraft maintenance in Maximo would dominate his focus for the next six years. After implementation, Mark was responsible for a team of people that supported Maximo and the company’s financial systems for the airline.
It was during this time, in 2002, when Mark first met the Projetech owner/president and many of the company’s consultants. Projetech was recruited to assist with training and post go-live support during the rollout of Maximo version 4.1.1 to over 400 users. The Projetech team took the challenge as their own and became a trusted partner to the airline. Projetech was there all the way to the end in 2006, when the airline ceased operations, providing training to the Maximo users.
After the airline shut down, Mark continued his focus with Maximo in the aviation vertical by implementing Maximo version 6 with the Asset Configuration Manager add-on at a startup regional airline. After a successful implementation there, Mark joined Projetech in June 2008 as a member of the technical team.
Mark currently acts as a lead technologist for the company, architecting the hosting environment where Projetech hosts Maximo versions 4 -7. He is a certified Maximo Asset Management 7.1 Deployment Professional and Solution Designer.
Mark has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Accounting with a minor in Finance. Prior to his experience with Maximo, Mark worked for Mobil Oil Corporation for 13 years in the Accounting and IT functions with most of his time focused on developing / implementing new accounting systems.
Mark lives in the Dallas area with his wife Johnna and their three kids.
